Beschreibung:

One of a host of Mini special editions which commenced with the 'Limited Edition 1000' of 1976, the '25' marked the 25th anniversary of the Mini's introduction. Based on the Mini Mayfair and launched at a special birthday party at Donington Park, the luxuriously appointed '25' was finished appropriately in silver with grey/red coachline, complemented by grey-finished wheelarch extensions, bumpers, door handles, twin mirrors and grille. The interior was upholstered in red-piped grey velvet, the seats having zippered pockets in the squab fronts, while the comprehensive equipment package included a rev-counter, stereo radio/cassette, leather-bound steering wheel, reversing/fog lights and tinted glass. Built in a limited edition of 5,000, of which 1,500 were exported, the model was the first Mini to be fitted with 12"-diameter wheels and the first non-Cooper with disc brakes. Acquired directly from the factory, this example has covered just 1,445 miles from new. Last MoT'd to 1990, the car runs but has not been used recently. It is offered with Swansea V5 registration document.
