French School, 19th Century Ten Framed Engravings After Paintings: Eight Mythological Subjects and a Market Scene from the Collection of Le Duc d'Orléans, and Naissance de Bacchus from the Palais Royale, identified and titled in the plates, most with descriptive labels affixed to the frame backings. Engravings on paper, sight sizes to 8 x 8 7/16 in. (20.5 x 21.4 cm). Condition: Pale toning and foxing, one with a small stain to lower margin, not examined out of frames. Provenance: Charles Spada Collection. N.B. The engravings are thought to date from c. 1870-1890.
