Well-hollowed, the pear-shaped bottle raised on a carefully rounded, oval footrim, and finished with a flat lip, the front and back carved in relief with two opposing medallions, one depicting a figure rowing a raft with a pole tied with a double-gourd, framed by a gnarled pine tree, the reverse depicting a poet standing in front of dramatic rocks with his attendant holding a prunus branch over his shoulder, the narrow sides supporting a pair of faux lion mask-and-ring handles; the soft-hued matrix cast with pale russet patches on one main side.
