(11) with a reddish shade on a first month entire and a marginal example in a black-brown shade (thin paper), 20c. (20) with two on entires and one on a front, a good selection of shades noted, 1849-50 "Médaillons" with a few proofs, the issued include used values to 40c. (5), 1851 (without frame to watermark) used selection on various paper types to 40c. (4), together with a group of entires and covers (10), 1858 small frame 10c. horizontal pair and 20c. single (huge margins) mint with much original gum, the covers include a vertical strip of three 40c. (cut-into at foot) on 1859 entire to Paris, also 40c. (2 singles) on 1862 envelope and a marginal single 40c. on 1860 front and part back, 1863 perforated values with 1c. mint block of four, other unused and used values together with envelopes and entires (11), 1865-67 imperf 20c. block of six, 30c. single, perforated 40c. and 1f. blocks of four (together with a single 1f.) all handstamped "SPECIMEN", issued values with unused and used and including paper types, 1866 Lion issue, 1869 unissued essays and colour trials (15, in three different colours), 1869-83 issue with 5f. mint (superb) and used, 1883 imperf. 20c., 50c., 1f. (3, with a pair), 2f. (3, with a pair) all handstamped "SPECIMEN", 1884-91 to 2f. (4, two unused) and including a single 1f. on registered 1894 cover to England, 1893-1900 Arms and Portrait mint values to 2f. (both shades), 1905 Leopold II 10c. to 2f. imperf. values on china paper, also a mint set as issued, 1911 Brussels and Charleroi Exhibition mint sets, 1912 1c. to 5f. mint, 1914 Red Cross Fund 5c.(+5c.) to 20c.(+20c.) imperf., also imperf. and perf. colour trials (63 stamps), 1915 Red Cross Fund imperf. 10c. and 20c., from then on a largely mint run of issues with 1915-22 1c.to 10f. with 5f.
