1851-1935, an extensive and valuable, mainly used, collection, the "Pence" issues comprise 1851 laid paper 3d. (2) and 6d. (3, one cancelled by blue target h.s.), 1852-56 handmade wove paper (7) with shades, 6d. (4) with shades, 7½d. (3, all with small margins), 10d. (4, one with very large margins but slight thinning), 1857 machine-made paper ½., 3d. (4, one with major re-entry), 6d. (3, with pair) and 10d., 1857 thin soft ribbed paper ½d. (2) and 3d., and 1858-59 perf. 11¾ ½d. (3) and 3d., some with faults, mainly of a minor nature, but generally of good appearance, the 1859-64 "Cents" issues comprise 1c. (3), 5c. (7), 10c. (11), 12½c. (5), 17c. (3) and 2c. (3) with a few scarcer shades, the 1868-97 "Large" and "Small" Queens are represented by excellent shade ranges of the different printings with cancellation interest, heavy duplication of some issues, also a few unused/mint to 10c. with multiples, 1893 20c. vermilion and 50c. Prussian blue imperf. pairs with part original yellowish gum, 1897 Jubilee with mint/unused 20c. (3), 50c. (4) and $1, and used $1 (2), $2 (3), $3 (2), $4 and $5 (2) mostly fair to good, later issues include 1897-98 2c. imperf. pair with part original gum, 1898 Map 2c. imperf. vertical pair without gum, 1899 2c. on 3c. surcharge inverted unused with part original gum (Brandon certificate), 1922-31 1c. to 3c. (2) imperf. pairs and a few Special issues. Variable condition but many good to fine. (hundreds)
