1852-65, a valuable and comprehensive mainly used "old time" collection with shades and duplication, housed in a F.G. "Junior" album and comprising 1852 1sgr. (3), 2sgr. (11), and 3sgr. (3); 1853-56 ¼sgr. (4), 1/3sgr. (7), 1sgr. (21 with two on covers), 2sgr. (31 with four covers -- one with two examples, another with additional 1sgr.) and 3sgr. (20); 1857 sgr. (13) with three mint, a cover and a further cover with sgr; 1861-64 imperf. ½sgr. (15, seven unused), 1sgr. (15 with a cover), 3sgr. (11); 1861-64 percés en arc 1/3sgr. unused with part original gum, 1sgr. yellow on white (15, one on cover), 2sgr. (2, one on cover) and 3sgr. (3, one on cover); 1865 embossed 1/3sgr. unused (12 with a block of four) and used (5, one creased -- all believed to be genuine cancellations), 1sgr. unused (9 with a block of four) and used (12), 2sgr. (7), 3sgr. (7 with a block of four) and used (7). Generally good to fine and representing an excellent base for further expansion. Cat. DM.64,000+. Photo for a selection
