Also included is a 1929 cover from Govenor Stoors at Troodos to Sir Harry Lake in Jerusalem. Registration is well represented from the "REGISTERED/CYPRUS" oval d.s. to the self-adhesive and short-term unallocated and reallocated labels used for the huge proliferation of new post offices following the Turkish invasion of 1974. Other areas covered include censor marks, Official covers, first day covers, slogans, special event cancellations etc. The whole collection is arranged by Postal Districts and is neatly mounted and written-up in nine two-ring folders with most pages giving details of locations, population and dates during when each office was open. It is essential that this lot be viewed in order to appreciate the scope and detail supplied. A wonderful lot for the specialist.
