1890-1900 (c.) an extensive and valuable collection that features a fine study of the settings of the 1897-1900 issue with many sheetlets, varieties etc., commencing with a small section of forerunners including India cancelled at Dhar with envelopes or cards (6), the 1897-1900 issue includes ½p. black on red (4 characters) handstamps omitted on right-hand block (3x2), of a sheet of 10 (Setting VI), ½p. black on red (3 characters) on native wrapper (R.P.S. certificate) and another on small envelope, ¼a. black and orange sheet of 10 and a vertical pair used on part wrapper and a single used on an envelope (tears away from adhesive) (R.P.S. certificate, 1978), handstamp omitted in pair (one with handstamp) and a single, unused, ½a. black on magenta on small native envelope and handstamp omitted block of four used, 2a. black on yellow sheets of 10 (2) from Setting VII, 1898-1900 with ½a. carmine sheet of 60 mint, ½a. rose block (8x2) used, 1a. claret sheet of 120 mint and a single on native envelope, 1a. reddish violet sheet of 30 mint, imperf. between pair mint and imperf. pair and block of six (partially doubly printed) unused, 2a. green sheet of 30 mint, the collection concludes with stationery envelopes and cards (18), a good range with four used (rare to very rare)
