1913-45, the valuable and extensive mint/unused and used duplicated collection arranged in four stockbooks; the assembly was assiduously formed over a period of many years and contains a wealth of shades, varieties etc. which could, with rationalisation, form the basis of a fine exhibition collection, furthermore, apart from obvious fakes among the notorious 1920 overprint issue and a few other dubious items it is offered without caveat. Inevitably the main value lies in the 1913 Double eagle handstamps which comprise 2pa. (2) used on separate pieces, 5pa. unused and used (4, three are blurred impressions), 10pa. unused and used (4, three are blurred impressions), 10pa. with red crescent (creased), 20pa. unused (2) and used (7, clear to blurred impressions), 1pi. unused and used (8, with shades, clear to blurred impressions), 2pi. unused and used (3) all blurred impressions, "10" on 20pa. (toned) used on piece and Postage Due 1pi. black on rose used (rare), later issues include 1914 (Mar.) Koritza Military Post 10pa. (2) and 25pa. (2) unused, and strength in the 1913-14 Skanderbeg issues, 1916-19 issues for Koritza with varieties, 1918-20 Provisional Government issues and Airmails with 1929 (Dec.) 5q. to 3f. mint with duplication of lower values and an additional 2f. used. The collection has been formerly housed in a tropical climate, and while the large majority of stamps have been enclosed in protective mounts, a small portion which have adhered to the stockbook leaves. (several thousand)
