Birmingham Small Arms Company, fabricant de moteur depuis 1907, acquit Daimler en 1910, puis abandonna sa conception au profit de celle de Daimler. Quand, en 1921, BSA reprit la production automobile ce fût avec une 10hp motorisée par moteur en V de 1,075cc de marque Hotchkiss. Ce modèle se vendit bien puis disparût en 1925 lorsque le concurrent, Morris, acquit Hotchkiss. BSA racheta plus tard les droits de fabrication du moteur afin d'équiper le modèle à trois roues « Scout » à roues avants motrices. En 1933, une version modernisée appelée 'TW-33-10' fut créée, équipée d'un 4 cylindres 9cv de 1,075cc à soupapes latérales. Sous cette forme la BSA trois roues resta en production jusqu'en 1936 subissant quelques modifications à chaque « année-modèle ». Immatriculée pour la première fois le 3 Mars 1933, cette BSA a été acquise par le propriétaire actuel en 2004 auprès d'un marchand Britannique. Entre 2005 et 2006 la voiture a été totalement démontée pour être entièrement restaurés à partir du châssis pour un cout total de £25,000 (photos et factures de la restauration disponibles). A cette occasion elle fût équipée d'une paire de saute-vents Brookland (pare-brise d'origine fourni). Après restauration la BSA a été utilisée occasionnellement, le propriétaire estime n'avoir parcouru que 800 kilomètres. Présentée dans un excellent état, cette automobile est présentée avec les factures et photos de restauration mentionnées, ses papiers d'immatriculation d'origine Britannique, son contrôle technique valide (MoT), son manuel d'atelier et des papiers de circulation Autrichien. A motor manufacturer from 1907, the Birmingham Small Arms Company acquired Daimler in 1910, soon abandoning its own range in favour of a Daimler design. When BSA resumed post-hostilities car production in 1921 it was with a quite different type of vehicle: a 10hp light car powered by a 1,075cc, v-twin engine made by Hotchkiss. The model sold well, only disappearing in 1925 when rivals Morris bought Hotchkiss, though BSA later acquired rights to the engine for use in its front-wheel-drive 'Scout' three-wheeler. Designated 'TW-33-10', a version of the latter appeared in 1933 powered by a more refined 9hp, four-cylinder, sidevalve engine of 1,075cc. In this form BSA's three wheeler remained in production into 1936, with appropriate changes to the 'year' designation. First registered on 3rd March 1933, this BSA was acquired by the current owner in 2004 from a dealer in the UK. During 2005/2006 the car was totally dismantled and treated to a 'chassis-upwards' restoration costing €25,000 (see photographs and invoices on file) during which it was equipped with a pair of Brooklands aero screens (original windscreen with car). After completion the BSA was used sparingly, the owner estimating that he has driven it only 800 kilometres. Presented in commensurately good condition, the car is offered with the aforementioned restoration invoices and photographs; its original and final UK registration documents; last UK MoT certificate; workshop manual; and Austrian roadworthiness and registration papers.
