1934 US Tour of Japan Team Signed Baseball in Original Japanese Ball Box (PSA/DNA Graded 8.5) This Mizuno Official University League baseball is the ultimate commemoration of the historic 1934 US tour to “The Land of The Rising Sun” in Mr. Fujita’s preeminent collection. In terms of condition, provenance, and overall aesthetics, it is the finest ball of its kind known. Eighteen members of the US team have signed the ball including: Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, Connie Mack (sweet spot), Moe Berg, Bing Miller, J. Cascarella, "Rabbit" Warstler, Jimmie Foxx, John Quinn, Earl Averill, Clint Brown Charlie Gehringer, Eric McNair, Earl Whitehill, Lefty O'Doul, Frank Hayes, and Lefty Gomez. The black ink signatures are consistently bold, averaging 8-9/10. The keys of Ruth and Gehrig are among the best, and the elusive signature of Moe Berg is not only rendered in the rare form of "Morris Berg", but he has also repeated the same in Japanese. Accompanying the ball is its original Mizuno box, which has helped preserve it for the better part of the last seventy-plus years. PSA/DNA has assigned an overall grade of NM-MT+ 8.5, making it the finest 1934 Tour of Japan ball graded by that firm to date. LOAs from PSA/DNA (graded 8.5) and JSA.
