Original blue felt number 4 is featured on the jersey's back, original NY logo has been removed. Jersey has been reinforced to prevent deterioration. Pants feature the name L. Gehrig in red stitching adjacent to a Spalding label on the inside band. There have been some alterations and patching to the knees.
