Fully operational, this Jeep was reconditioned and serviced in order to be identical in every way to its original factory condition. All standard production equipments are present: combat rims, canvas half-doors, US tarp, jerrican, gages etc. The standard "Godevil" engine has been overhauled and all the equipments are consistent with the MD model: Cartern carburetor, Sparton horn, cotton electrical wiring, etc. Description: The Jeep Willys is part of the museum's D-Day scenery in which it rolls off an LVT4 on Utah Beach. This was the Willys and the crew's first operation. The canvas doors were attached in order to prevent water from flooding the cabin.
