En 1992, elle a été achetée par un collectionneur qui l'a cédée en 1997 à l'actuel propriétaire. Celui-ci, fort de cinq restaurations réussies sur d'autres voitures de collection, avec un réseau d'artisans qu'il connaissait bien, a entrepris de la remettre en état avec un souci permanent de ne rien enlever à l'authenticité de la voiture (dossier disponible). Ainsi, la carrosserie a été refaite avec grand soin par la carrosserie Peltret, à Daix, de sa teinte d'origine "Beldon Blue". Les joints ont été remplacés et les garnitures qui le nécessitaient ont été refaites, comme l'habillage de coffre. Chromes et freins ont également bénéficié d'une remise en état, respectivement chez CDG, à Oullins, et les établissements Etient. Les jantes sont chaussées de pneus Michelin X qui n'ont que 3 000 km, celui de la roue de secours étant neuf. Conforme à son état d'origine, avec ses options boîte automatique et antibrouillards, elle comporte simplement un petit tuner moderne discrètement dissimulé derrière la façade du poste de radio ancien et une pompe à essence électrique, invisible, vient doubler la pompe mécanique toujours en place. Rare dans cette carrosserie, cette voiture allie élégance, confort, puissance et opulence américaine. In 1992 it was acquired by a collector who sold it to the current owner in 1997. Having already restored five other collectors' cars and thus having a network of craftsmen, the current owner undertook a sympathetic restoration that retained the car's authenticity (file available). The bodywork was restored by coachbuilder Peltret, in Daix, to the original " Beldon Blue ". Seals were replaced along with any trim that needed renewing, such as the boot lining. The chrome work was restored by CDG, in Oullins, and the brakes overhauled by the Etient enterprise. The wheels are fitted with Michelin X tyres which have covered just 3,000 km, and the tyre on the spare wheel is new. In keeping with its original specification, with automatic gearbox and fog lights, it is fitted with a modern tuner discreetly placed behind the old radio face, and an invisible electric petrol pump which backs up the mechanical pump still in place. Rare in this body, this car combines elegance, comfort, power and American splendor.
