Circa 1950, New York Yankees Team Signed Baseball. Of the 25 signatures we have identified 24 including 3 "Hall of Famers" Joe DiMaggio, Ed (Whitey) Ford and Yogi Berra, also including Vic Raschi, Fred Sanford, Ernie Nevel, Cliff Mapes, Bobby Brown, Ralph Houk, Gene Woodling, Allie Reynolds, Ed (Eddie) Lopat, Joe Collins, Johnny Hopp, Bill Johnson, Jack (Jackie) Jensen, Joe Page, Hank Bauer, Bob Porterfield, Dave Madison, Jerry Coleman Tommy Byrne, Tom Henrich and Lew Berdette. Singed on an unmarked baseball, having a few scuffs and dirt. - The baseball items in this auction are from a local estate. The consignor, a young girl at the time, regularly took the train from New Hampshire into Boston to visit her grandfather to attend games, he was a Red Sox season ticket holder at the time. Weight: 5.25 oz.
