BSA’s 125cc Bantam, copied wholeheartedly from the DKW RT 125 of before WW2, arrived on the British market in 1949, in ‘Bantam Green’ with a rigid rear-end. By 1951, the model had gained plunger rear suspension. KAB 364 is an uncompleted restoration and was found in completely dismantled condition. Once built up, the little Bantam will provide reliable transport or use as a ‘basic trainer’, its function back in 1951. A V5 for the Worcestershire number is present and buyers should ascertain the completeness of the lot.
