Frame n°07705 Engine n° 102474 Innocenti designed its first scooter in 1947. It was produced near Milan at the Lambrate factory which will give its name to the brand, Lambretta. This particular D model has a mono tube frame with round section, replacing the model with square section. The engine is still a 125cc two-stroke mono, which propels this machine to 70 km/h. Its three gears are now controlled by a revolving handle. Fittings are reduced to the essentials: the flooring and two mudguards. Good enough to have fun on the handlebars of this beautiful model that has been certified by ASI. It previously had a quality restoration. We are very proud to present this very moving collection. All the motorcycles reflect a man's passion for different brands and generations of two-wheelers. The ones that made him dream as a child in the 1940s and 1950s, as well as those he enjoyed riding, such as the BMWs and Guzzis. The original condition and low mileage of most of the motorcycles of the collection will certainly catch the attention of demanding collectors. We inform buyers that the entire collection consists of motorcycles that were, for the most part, left unused for years in a private museum. They are therefore sold as they are and are to be restored and/or recommissioned. We advise all potential buyers to check the file of each motorcycle to obtain all information regarding the registration process in their countries. Photos © Christophe Gasco
