En plus de proposer les roues avant motrices, elle proposera une carrosserie tout acier sans châssis et beaucoup d’innovations techniques. Elle deviendra un véritable symbole national pendant ses 27 années de carrière, confirmant ainsi la réputation de constructeur entreprenant et techniquement avant-gardiste de la marque. 80 ans après et au jour des 100 ans de la Marque aux Chevrons, les amateurs et collectionneurs de Citroën n’ont jamais été aussi nombreux. Elle a été restaurée par étape au début des années 2000. Elle a reçu une nouvelle peinture bleu nuit en 2002 et l’intérieur a été refait en 2004 avec une garniture skaï et tissus rayé gris. Une révision mécanique a été effectuée au printemps et la tringlerie de boîte a été revue. Son moteur démarre au quart de tour, à son volant l’on retrouve une auto agréable à conduire au comportement sain et équilibré.
