Beschreibung:

The motorcycle part of the Austrian Steyr-Daimler-Puch combine, Puch introduced its first motorcycle in early 1900s. After WW2 Puch built two-strokes only, commencing with split-singles in 125, 150, 175 and 250cc capacities. By the early 1960s the firm had switched to conventional two-strokes and climbed aboard the scooter bandwagon, introducing its first - the 125cc models R and RL - in 1952, the former sparked by flywheel magneto ignition, the latter by coil and battery. In 1957 the restyled SR Alpine arrived, powered by a 6bhp, 150cc engine and boasting up-to-the-minute bodywork. There was also the SRA150, equipped with electric starter. A ‘must have’ for any serious scooter collector, this smart Puch 125RL was purchased by the vendor from a French collector at Beaulieu Autojumble in September 2006. Reported as a good runner, the machine is offered with French registration papers.
