Dotée d'un moteur de cylindrée légèrement supérieure, elle arbore une carrosserie affichant résolument sa personnalité haut de gamme : elle présente une calandre affirmée et sacrifie aux tendances "américaines" du moment, avec des ailes arrière en pointe, des sorties d'échappement dans le pare-chocs et de généreux enjoliveurs chromés. Elle s'adresse visiblement à une clientèle statutaire d'industriels ou de représentants du gouvernement. De diffusion relativement confidentielle, ce modèle sera produit à moins de 3 000 exemplaires avant d'être remplacé par la version six-cylindres 2600. La voiture que nous présentons est sortie d'usine le 17 juin 1960 et a été vendue le 23 juin à Loro Ciuffenna, près d'Arezzo, en Italie. Sa teinte est alors "griogio alba", qui est encore celle qui l'habille. La carrosserie est saine dans l'ensemble, avec quelques imperfections mineures et des chromes en bon état, légèrement piqués par endroits. L'habitacle est de belle présentation, avec un tableau de bord impeccable, des sièges en drap bleu et simili en très bel état et des tapis en caoutchouc très bien préservés. Le compteur kilométrique affiche 10 478 km et l'équipement comporte un autoradio Voxson. Repeinte il y a une dizaine d'années, cette voiture est restée entre les mêmes mains de 1960 à 2002. Bien entretenue, c'est un exemplaire offrant un état séduisant, fidèle à ce qu'il était à sa sortie d'usine. Il s'agit d'une voiture particulièrement rare, typique d'un haut de gamme des années 1960, avec sa présentation cossue affichant luxe et opulence. Les automobiles de cette collection sont présentées sans contrôle technique. La nouvelle législation nous empêche de faire passer un contrôle technique à un véhicule non immatriculé en France. With a slightly larger displacement engine, the new model featured a body that enhanced its resolutely high-end personality: it had an assertive grille and sacrificing to "American" trends, the car featured rear fins, with the exhaust exiting out of the bumper, plus hubcaps chromed generously. The car was designed to obviously cater to industrialists, businessmen and government officials. With a relatively exclusive production run, the total numbers produced was less than 3000 units, before the 2000 was replaced by six-cylindered 2600. The car we offer left the factory on 17th of June, 1960 and was sold on June 23 in Loro Ciuffenna, near Arezzo, in Italy. Its colour then was "griogio alba", which is the colour that the car wears currently too. The body is in a healthy condition overall, with some minor imperfections; the chrome too is in good condition, though slightly pitted in places. The cabin is in beautiful condition, with an array of impeccable seats covered in blue cloth and leather imitation, which are in very good condition, along with very well preserved rubber mats on the floor. The odometer shows 10,478km and the car comes with a Voxson radio. Repainted ten years ago, this car has been in the same hands from 1960 to 2002. Well maintained, this is an exemplary offering in an attractive state, true to what it was like when leaving the factory. This is typical of an upscale 1960s car, which is particularly rare, with its opulent luxury and fine condition and presentation on display. The cars in this collection are all offered without contôle technique (MOT). New legislation prevents us from obtaining an MOT for a vehicle that is not registered in France.
