1960 Simca P60 Plein Ciel S No reserve Titre de circulation français Châssis n° 1753577 - Ligne élégante, d'inspiration italienne - Belle restauration - Modèle rare - Sans réserve Provenant précédemment de la collection d'un garagiste passionné, cette voiture a été achetée à la fin des années 1990 lors d'une vente aux enchères par un collectionneur passionné, qui était trésorier du club de miniatures Peugeot, et proche également de la Caapy, l'association des amateurs de Simca. Ce coupé Plein Ciel était alors " vert criquet " à toit noir : le nouveau propriétaire souhaitait une teinte " gris château " et a confié la voiture à la carrosserie Bourdais, à Mantes, qui a effectué un beau travail de réfection incluant notamment un traitement antirouille. L'intérieur n'a pas été touché car il était en bel état, avec son tableau de bord en tôle peinte et ses sièges en drap gris à fines rayures. Le moteur fonctionnait très bien. Un dossier de factures et de photos témoigne de la restauration, et les rapports de contrôle technique montrent que, depuis 20 ans, ce coupé a parcouru moins de 1 000 km ! Ce modèle attrayant tient directement son origine de la Simca 8 Sport lancée en 1949 avec une carrosserie inspirée des Cisitalia de Pininfarina. Elle a évolué au fil des ans, esthétiquement et mécaniquement, et cet exemplaire dispose du moteur Flash-Spécial. Avec sa ligne sobre et équilibrée, son pare-brise panoramique, ses ailes arrière fuselées, son habitacle lumineux et bien fini, ce coupé est un superbe représentant d'une forme d'élégance à la française, dans la même ligne que les Facel. L'état de cet exemplaire rend justice à ce modèle rare. At this time the Plein Ciel coupé was " vert criquet " with a black roof. The new owner, wanting to change the colour to " gris château " entrusted the car to the Bourdais coachbuilders in Mantes, who carried out an excellent job which included giving the car an anti-rust treatment. The interior was left untouched, being in superb condition, with painted metallic dashboard and pinstriped grey fabric seats. The engine ran very well. A file of invoices details this restoration, and the MOT reports show that the coupé has covered less than 1000 km in the last 20 years ! This attractive model is derived from the Simca 8 Sport launched in 1949 with bodywork inspired by Pininfarina's Cisitalia. The model evolved over time, aesthetically and mechanically, and our example is equipped with the Flash-Spécial engine. With restrained and well-balanced styling, panoramic windscreen, tapered rear wings and well-finished, light-filled interior, this coupé is a perfect representative of an elegantly French form, with similar styling to the Facels. The condition of this example does justice to this rare model.
