1963 Citroën Ami 6 berline No reserve PROVENANT D'UNE DES PLUS SELECTIVES COLLECTIONS D'EUROPE Titre de circulation anglais Châssis n° 154871 - Histoire remarquablement documentée - Un seul propriétaire jusqu'en 2007 - Facture de vente et carte de garantie originales de 1963 - Sans réserve C'est l'état de préservation et la documentation qui accompagne cette voiture qui ont séduit l'actuel propriétaire, un collectionneur de Citroën très sélectif, lorsqu'il a fait l'achat de cette Ami 6. En effet, on trouve dans son dossier la facture d'achat originale de 1963 avec la carte de garantie, la correspondance avec l'agent Citroën de l'Ouest lors de la commande, ainsi qu'une copie de la première carte grise de janvier 1963 et de nombreuses factures d'entretien. La richesse de cette documentation s'explique par le fait que son premier propriétaire a gardé sa voiture jusqu'à 2007 ! Elle est donc très saine, avec sa teinte blanc carrare d'origine et son toit en matière synthétique. L'intérieur en tissu rouge a moins bien supporté le passage des années et présente des traces d'usure, il devra être refait. Lors de son lancement en 1961, l'Ami 6 se présentait comme une sorte de 2 CV de luxe qui s'intercalait entre elle et la DS. Plus puissante et confortable que la 2 CV, elle permettait de mieux s'intégrer dans la circulation. Sa forme signée du génial Flaminio Bertoni a pu être qualifiée de baroque mais, avec ses phares oblongs et sa lunette arrière inversée, elle ne ressemblait à aucune autre. Cette incroyable originalité en fait aujourd'hui une pièce recherchée, plus rare en berline qu'en break. Quand en plus elle est dans un état d'origine tel que cet exemplaire, le voyage dans le temps est complet ! Indeed, we find in its file the original 1963 purchase invoice with the warranty card and correspondence with the Citroen dealer Garages de l'Ouest during its ordering process, as well as a copy of the first French title from January 1963 and numerous maintenance invoices. This impressive documentation is explained by the fact that its first owner kept his car until 2007! It is therefore very sound, with its original Carrara white color and its synthetic roof. The interior in red fabric shows signs of wear and will have to be redone. When it was launched in 1961, the Ami 6 presented itself as a kind of luxury 2CV which was inserted between it and the DS. More powerful and comfortable than the 2CV, it made it easier to integrate into traffic. Its shape signed by the brilliant Flaminio Bertoni could be described as baroque, but with its oblong headlights and its reverse rear window, it looked like no other.
