French title Chassis # 110F1768057 Engine No. 110F.000.1874245 - High quality restoration - 18,700km since new! - Only 400 units produced - Collection of an enthusiast of Fiat 500s and derivatives - No reserve The original idea of the Gamine came from Mr. Germiniani, a Fiat dealer in Monaco, and the owner of the company General Automobile Monégasque (hence the moniker) and his counterpart from Perpignan, to create a mini roadster based on the Fiat 500.The Fiat 500 Gamine bears the signature of coachbuilder Vignale, and 400 were produced in two series of 200 from 1967 to 1971; making it rarer than the beach Fiat 500 by Ghia. The car on offer was purchased in 1998 by our collector while its earlier owner had it since 1979. It was then deemed to have covered 16,000 km since origin, which was confirmed during the dismantling of the engine. The car benefited from a comprehensive high quality restoration between 1998 and 2001, with the bodywork dismantled. An important invoice folder testifies to all the work. The car today is in a very good condition, in its yellow livery with black interior (the combination as proposed in the original). The mechanicals was rebuilt in 2000. The hood and its special handling are in good condition. The odometer now displays 18,700km, which would correspond to its original mileage. As stated by the advertising from the period, the Gamine is "an invitation to relax," and here is an opportunity to take advantage of this argument with this rare and beautiful example.
