Beschreibung:

1968 MERCEDES BENZ 280 SL PAGODE AVEC HARD TOP Délivrée avec son " Zertifikat Mercedes Benz " Châssis no. 113 044 10 003 366 Moteur no. 130 983 10 001 374 La 230 SL (S.L. Delivered with its "Mercedes Benz Certificate" The 230 SL (S.L stands for Sports Light) was first introduced in March 1953 and immediately set itself apart with its "Pagoda" roof. It superseded both the 190 SL and the prestigious 300 SL. Originally built with a 2.3L engine, it was fitted with a 2.5L in March 1967 and finally with a 2.8L in 1968. As the last cabriolet model in the sporting series to have a pagoda roof, the 280 SL was popular among lovers of open top cars combining comfort, speed and elegance. The top speed was 205 km/h. Delivered new in Spain on 19 June 1968, this striking two-seater roadster in off-white with a beige leather interior is in fantastic condition. It comes complete with headrests and a Becker Mexico radio/cassette unit. A real head-turner, this car's excellent condition can vouch for the fact that it only has 42,000 km on the clock. Although equipped with a hard top, meaning that it can be used in all weather and in all seasons, it is obvious that this particular hard top has hardly been used, probably only in summer! It has a wealth of equipment, power-assisted steering, which is extremely rare in this type of model, an automatic aerial, white steering wheel and insulated windows.
