1969 Citroën DS 21 Rallye Coupé"raccourci" No reserve Carte grise française Châssis n° 49396913 - Un pan de l'histoire de Citroën en rallye - Auto en bel état, prête à prendre part à des rallyes historiques - Une des (très) rares DS raccourcies d'époque - Sans réserve Ce sont les qualités de tenue de route notamment dues à la suspension hydropneumatique qui feront de la DS une redoutable arme en rallye. S'inspirant du prototype utilisé par Bob Neyret, vainqueur à son volant du Rallye du Maroc, Marcel Lavalle a construit en 1969 sa propre " DS courte ", avec un châssis raccourci de 52 cm. Pilotée par son constructeur, avec J.P Chastin comme copilote, la voiture a pris part à de nombreuses épreuves en 1969 et 1970, en France dans les rallyes du Mistral, d'Antibes, du Pétrole-Provence, du Vaucluse, la Coupe des Alpes et le Critérium des Cévennes, et dans le calendrier international, le Tour Auto du Portugal. Elle a ensuite passé de nombreuses années dans le garage d'un collectionneur de la région d'Avignon, avant d'être achetée par Roger Reynier. Ce dernier a alors décidé d'effectuer des travaux de carrosserie et la voiture fut repeinte en bleu de France. Il a également souhaité offrir une cure de jouvence au moteur en le confiant à Philippe Chauvet, qui s'est chargé de la préparation, la mise au point étant réalisée par Marc Fanciullo, avec pour résultat une puissance de 119,4 cv au banc. Cette remise en état s'est accompagnée d'améliorations, notamment sur le tableau de bord. Dans sa configuration actuelle, ce prototype DS a participé avec succès à de nombreux rallyes de régularité et de régularité sportive, et aujourd'hui, son propriétaire verrait d'un très bon œil un amateur prendre sa succession.
