1970 Jaguar E-Type Series 2 Convertible Registration no. BHY 732H Chassis no. 1R13946 *A tidy example *Manual gearbox *Room for light cosmetic improvement Odometer Reading: MOT Expiry: November 2020 Often seen as the ultimate version of the E-type, the convertible conjures up days of endlessly empty roads, congestion-free towns where a parking space could easily be found (and was free) and tank-filling being as cheap as buying a round. Those congestion-free roads aren't as common as they used to be, but the opportunity to buy a Jaguar E-type Convertible is still achievable, as this white, manual gearbox example shows. Here is a 1970, American market (where it was converted to right-hand drive) model with good bodywork and good paint, with equally commendable panel shuts. The bonnet is in good order, as are the front and rear valances, while the engine bay is tidy but could be improved with further tidying. The beige hood is clean, close-fitting and has a clear window. Inside all is presentable and tidy, with good condition seats (clean and wear-free) and tidy door cards, while the dashboard is free of cracks and splits. Mechanically the engine has received a tune-up and both brake and clutch hydraulics have been attended to, and new tyres fitted. Imported from Los Angeles in March this year it is believed to have had one owner in the USA.
