1970 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL avec hard-top Carte grise française Châssis n° 11304412021765 Moteur n° 13098312014654 - Voiture bien entretenue pour rouler - Ligne légère et élégante - Modèle confortable, prestigieux et endurant Sortie d'usine en octobre 1970 et vendue neuve dans la région de Chicago, cette voiture a passé l'essentiel de sa vie aux États-Unis. Son dernier titre de circulation la situait en Californie, avant qu'elle ne traverse l'Atlantique. L'actuel propriétaire a fait l'acquisition de cette 280 SL "Pagode" en juillet 2011, après avoir bénéficié d'une remise en état. Amateur exigeant et utilisant sa voiture essentiellement pour effectuer des voyages entre Paris et la Bretagne, il a fait réaliser toute une série de travaux visant à en parfaire la fiabilité. En 2012: réfection des soubassements de la carrosserie et des longerons, ainsi que nettoyage du réservoir et installation d'une capote neuve en alpaga chez Atelier SL, à Paris. En 2013: réfection de la boîte automatique, confiée au Centre de Restauration et d'Entretien des Véhicules de Collection Mercedes-Benz à Stains. En 2014: révision de l'allumage et des freins, ainsi que graissage complet. En 2014: remplacement de la pompe à essence et contrôle du circuit d'alimentation. En Février 2015: contrôle général et remplacement des éléments de suspension du moteur. Cette voiture dispose d'une direction assistée, et la fiche Mercedes confirme qu'elle est bien équipée de son moteur d'origine. Tous les équipements sont en état de fonctionnement (y compris la radio d'origine) et les pneus Michelin XZ4 qui la chaussent présentent une usure faible. Entretenu pour rouler et de belle présentation, cet exemplaire équipé de son hard-top est prêt à prendre la route. Its last registration document was issued in California, before it crossed the Atlantic. The current owner bought this 280 SL " Pagoda " in July 2011, after it had gone through restoration work. The demanding enthusiast used his car to travel between Paris and Brittany and had a great deal of work carried out to improve its reliability. In 2012: refurbished underbody and siderails, cleaning of fuel tank and fitting of a new alpaca hood by Atelier SL, Paris. In 2013: refurbishment of the automatic gearbox by the Mercedes Center for restoration and service in Stains. In 2014: servicing of the ignition and brakes and full lubrication by Mercedes in Stains. In 2014: fuel pump replaced and fuel system checked, by Mercedes in Stains. In February 2015: general inspection with engine mounting components replaced, by Mercedes in Stains. This car has power steering, and the Mercedes file confirms that it is fitted with its original engine. All equipments are in working condition (including the original radio) and the Michelin XZ4 tyres are hardly worn. Maintained to be driven and presented in lovely condition, this example, complete with its hardtop, is ready to hit the road.
