Impressive list of enhancements Lovely condition The Mini was a small economy car produced by the English-based British Motor Corporation (BMC) and its successors from 1959 until 2000.This distinctive two-door car was designed for BMC by Sir Alec Issigonis. It was manufactured at the Longbridge and Cowley plants. The Mini has a space-saving transverse engine front-wheel drive layout allowing 80 percent of the area of the car's floor pan to be used for passengers and luggage. In 1999 the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the 20th century, First registered in May 1971 this road legal Mini has an impressive list of race enhancements including; Ultra light 10” alloys with Yokohama tyres, 1293cc engine, stage three cylinder head, AC Dodd RS camshaft, refurbished carburettor and alternator. A lightened and balanced flywheel as well as an AP clutch are mated to a straight cut gearbox. The bodywork is rust free and presents in good order as does the interior. A roll bar has been fitted offering any new purchaser the opportunity to enjoy this Mini on a track if desired. This stunning example is presented with a V5C registration certificate and an MoT certificate until February 2019.
