1974 Leyland Innocenti 1001 Mini Matic No reserve Carte grise française Châssis n° B 38/3 661920 Moteur n° 99H615EHI84A - Provenance princière exceptionnelle : Ex SAS Le prince Rainier III de Monaco & SAS Le prince Albert II de Monaco - Très bel état, 45 600 km d'origine - Rare Innocenti automatique - Sans réserve En 1961, B.M.C prit des accords avec le groupe d'Alessandro de Tomaso dont la marque Innocenti faisait partie pour assembler sous licence la Mini en Italie, à Milan. En 1972, les rennes d'Innocenti sont prises par B.L.M.C qui lance la 1001 et ce jusqu'en 1975 parallèlement aux désirables Innocenti Cooper. L'aventure se termine avec la Nuova Innocenti aux formes anguleuses dessinées par Marcello Gandini pour Bertone. De Tomaso reprit la direction des opérations quelques années plus tard. Le modèle fut présenté, vendu neuf à Monaco au Prince Rainier III en 1974 qui l'utilisa pour ses déplacements dans la principauté. Elle devint ensuite la propriété de son fils, le Prince Albert II, qui, par la suite la remisa au musée automobile de Monaco avant de l'offrir à son docteur qui la vendit au propriétaire actuel. Elle est équipée d'une boîte automatique à quatre rapports et se présente dans un état d'origine exceptionnel. L'intérieur en vinyle noir et tapis gris est en excellent état, le volant sport de série en aluminium à trois branches ajourées est toujours en place ainsi que le moteur de 998 cm3 d'origine, dont le compartiment est exceptionnellement propre et intact. Nous disposons de copies des deux titres de propriété monégasques aux noms des deux princes et d'une photo de la voiture au musée. Une occasion unique, qui ne se représentera pas d'acquérir une automobile de prince pour un budget réduit. In 1972, Innocenti was taken over by British Leyand, the company that BMC had become a part of, and who launched the 1001, produced until 1975, in parallel with the desirable Innocenti Cooper. This adventure ended with the Nuova Innocenti with an angular shape designed by Marcello Gandini for Bertone. A couple of years later, Alejandra de Tomaso took over Innocenti. The model on offer, sold new in Monaco to Prince Rainier III in 1974 was used for his regular commute within his principality. Later, it became the property of his son, Prince Albert II, who then handed it over to the Monaco Automobile Museum, before offering it to his doctor, who sold it to the current owner. It is equipped with a four-speed automatic transmission and is in an exceptional original condition. The black vinyl interior and grey carpet is in excellent condition, and the standard aluminum three-spoke sport steering wheel is still there as well as the original 998cc engine, whose compartment is exceptionally clean and intact. We have copies of the two Monegasque titles in the names of the two princes and a photo of the car at the museum. A unique opportunity to acquire a prince's car for a very reasonable price.
