French title Chassis # 988434 - Prepared by a reputable workshop - Exceptional performance - A one-off! Exhibited at the Paris Motor Show of 1983 by the Almeras brothers, who prepared this car, as confirms the certificate signed by both of them. Based on the platform of a Porsche 930 Turbo 3.3, this car comes equipped with two KKK turbochargers and an injection system from the Porsche 934 modified for competition. The engine features specially developed pistons and cam shafts, plus additional oil pumps while all moving parts have benefited from careful balancing. Developing 441bhp, the powerful mechanicals of this car gives it a top speed of 291 km/h! This car was used by Michelin for the high-speed test program used for the development of the TRX range of tires. A few years ago, this exceptional Porsche was sent home to the Almeras for rehabilitation and to restore the car to its original configuration: the paint was redone, the mechanicals checked, the clutch replaced by an enhanced version and the braking system was modernized. The car was then shod with Pirelli P Zero tires. With its unique bodywork directly inspired by the aerodynamics of the competition versions, this car received a lot of attention at the time, making the cover of several French magazines such as Auto Hebdo and Sport Auto. Its registration document is marked "Reconstr.". A unique achievement by a reputable workshop known for preparing Porsches of the highest level, this car boasts outstanding performance capabilities.
