Beschreibung:

“There are plenty of cars that offer four-seat accommodation; indeed, a goodly number of them reasonably exotic. There are even some that combine creature comforts with commendable handling and straight-line performance. But precious few blend these scintillating attributes with the heritage and mystique of the prancing horses from Maranello. A Ferrari 412 quickens the pulse all the more because it is a Ferrari, representing a heritage of competition and GT automobiles unmatched by any other of the world’s automakers.” Road & Track magazine, 1988. Representing evolution rather than revolution, the 412 debuted at the Geneva Motor Show in 1985 and replaced Ferrari’s 400i luxury flagship. The newcomer enjoyed a small (119cc) capacity increase, anti-lock brakes, revised interior and bumpers colour co-ordinated with the bodywork, while an improved front air dam and raised boot deck reduced the 412’s already exemplary co-efficient of drag by around ten percent. By the time the last car was built in 1989, Ferrari’s finest 2+2 had been in production for a remarkable 17 years, though its exclusivity meant that there were seldom more than 200 built in any one year. Originally sold in Rome and in the same ownership since then, this is well maintained example of Ferrari’s flagship for almost two decades. Now with 172,000 km covered, it retains its original silver livery and black leather upholstery, now showing an attractive patina, and is generally well presented throughout. Offered with its wallet containing the original service book, dealers network book, Blaupunkt radio instruction booklet and Italian registration papers, this is an elegantly understated four-seater Ferrari which should provide many more miles of enjoyable motoring.
