Cette 500 SL immaculée se trouve aujourd'hui dans un état impressionnant, avec son dossier de factures complet (environ 60 000 € !), ses carnets et livrets de service. Un essai nous a permis de constater son excellent fonctionnement dans un confort absolu d'une sellerie en cuir noir quasi-neuve. Avec 91 000 km d'origine, cette automobile possède les qualités d'une automobile peu kilométrée, tombée entre les mains d'un propriétaire des plus attentionnés. This beautiful convertible series W107 is equipped with the most homogenous engine from the range, the 5-litre V8. It was sold new in Germany and from the first owner it was acquired by the current owner, a Luxembourger, and a great car enthusiast to whom we had sold a Lamborghini Miura S, a dozen-odd years ago. Very demanding, the owner couldn't stand the normal wear and tear of the car, so he send it to his Mercedes agent to replace with re-conditioned parts all the chrome bits, the rubber of the bumpers, the carpets, the leather and all the aesthetic details that has seen some wear after 80,000km of use. The gearbox and the rear axle have also been redone by Mercedes. This pristine 500 SL is now in an awesome condition, complete with its invoice file (about € 60,000!), its manuals and service booklets. On a test drive we found it running excellently, in absolute comfort of its nearly new black leather upholstery. With 91,000km from origin, this car has the qualities of a low mileage car, which was lucky to fall into the hands of a very attentive owner.
