Son dessin est l'œuvre de Marcello Gandini et elle s'inscrit dans la lignée de la Renault 5 et autres Alpine ou Gordini, ce qui explique ses performances de choix avec son petit 1.4L à turbo Garret T2. Mise en circulation le 22 février 1989, la Super 5 GT Turbo de notre vacation est une phase 2 et bénéficie à ce titre des évolutions techniques et stylistiques apparues sur ce modèle à l'automne 1987. De couleur bleu lumière, avec intérieur tissu noir à motif triangle rouge et moquette grise, la voiture se présente dans une livrée sobre et sportive. Sa présentation est d'ailleurs conforme à la configuration spécifique de la GT Turbo. Acquise il y a quelques années par Philipe Colombo du garage Colombo Challenge, spécialiste Ferrari et Maserati dans le sud de la France, il fait refaire la mécanique en 2012, pour un montant de presque 3000 €, alors que la voiture affiche à peine plus de 113 000 km. Les sièges avant ont aussi été refaits. Saine et notamment sans corrosion au niveau des passages de roue arrière comme c'est souvent le cas sur ce modèle, cette Super 5 GT Turbo, qui totalise désormais 114700 km au compteur est ainsi en bel état général et ne demande qu'à rouler.
