The Bramah Collection 1990 Mercedes-Benz 500SL Registration no. H235RNY Chassis no. WDB1290662F018684 *An early example *Five-litre V8 *Tidy interior with aftermarket walnut steering wheel Replacing the much-loved R107 SL model presented Mercedes-Benz with a stiff challenge and the result was a technically advanced grand tourer offered with a selection of engines. Top of the tree was the five-litre 500SL which offered true a true grand tourer experience. Subtly two-toned in white with champagne bumpers (unusually for this model, free of scuffs) and lower bodywork, the panels have stood the test of time. Eight-hole alloys wheels are tidy. The black interior shows signs of use but features a period walnut steering wheel.
