Notre Testarossa a bénéficié d'un entretien suivi chez un spécialiste Ferrari d'abord en Italie jusqu'en 2015 puis en France chez DmotorSport, spécialiste indépendant Ferrari installé tout proche de Dijon. Son précédent propriétaire Italien, membre de l'Automotoclub Storico Italiano (A.S.I.) a obtenu en 2011 un certificat d'identité approuvé par la Fédération Internationale des Véhicules Anciens (F.I.V.A.). Le nouveau propriétaire français quant à lui recevra en 2015 une attestation de conformité de la part de Maranello, alors qu'en 2016 une expertise du cabinet Alliance Expertises à Epinal déterminera la valeur de l'auto à 125000. Affichant à peine plus de 50000Km au compteur, nous avons effectivement constaté le jour de notre essai que cette Testarossa était particulièrement bien préservée, fait notable pour les Ferrari des années 80 et 90 qui n'ont jamais été restaurées. Sa teinte rare et originale Giallo Ferrari est du plus bel effet et la sellerie en cuir Connolly est en bon état.
