Beschreibung:

Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG was a game-changing super-saloon with a very reliable, hand-built supercharged, V8 engine producing 469bhp with 516lb ft of torque with power fed to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic gearbox, an open differential and standard ESP and traction control. With all that power on tap, the 0-60mph dash, achieved with the ESP on, comes up in just 4.6 seconds while 100mph was reached in 10.4 seconds and 150mph in 24.4 seconds. Handling is taken care of by AMG-tuned air springs which give a convincing compromise between body control and comfort and the chassis feels firm; body roll is well contained and grip strong. The E55's interior shares the standard car's generous rear knee and headroom and big boot while the driver looks over white-faced AMG instruments with a good driving position. This two owner from new car was first registered on 7th July, 1999 and is a hard to find, UK delivered example. The car is supplied with its original books and tool kit along with two sets of keys and old MoT test certificates from 2003 through to 2017 including a current item valid until next year. The service book includes seven Mercedes-Benz main dealer stamps and one specialist stamp. Finished in silver with a contrasting black and grey interior; the vendor describes the car as being 10 out of 10 in every respect and has only covered 27,750 miles; it certainly is one of the best available in the UK. Massive power, pace and noise, a super-saloon of exceptional ability.
