The buckle of rococo outline decorated with acorn and oak leaf sprays, the sate '1660' and unit title, 'First Regt of Life Guards'. The slide with acorn and oak leaf patterning, and the tip displays a laurel and acanthus leaf outline, St. Edward's crown on a part star and the battle honours, 'Waterloo/June/1815' and 'Peninsula'. The belt is lined with white cloth and bears two fastening straps. Very good condition.
