2001 Ferrari F360 Spider Lot Number 160 Registration Y199MBV Chassis Number ZFFYT53C000122228 Engine Number 59806 Odometer reading 42,000 miles Estimate £68,000 - £76,000 Print details Send this to a friend The Ferrari 360 is a two-seater sports car manufactured from 1999 to 2005. It succeeded the Ferrari F355 and is a mid-engined, rear wheel drive, V8-powered coupé. Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce an entirely new, all aluminium space-frame chassis that was 40% stiffer than the F355. Along with a lightweight frame, the new Pininfarina body styling deviated from traditions of the previous decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights. The new V8 engine utilises a 3.6 litre capacity and, despite seemingly modest gains, in reality the power to weight ratio was significantly improved. The first model to be rolled out was the 360 Modena followed later by the 360 Spider and finally as a special edition, the Challenge Stradale. There was a total of 991 righthand drive 360 spiders delivered to the UK with 478 of them fitted with the manual gearbox. This excellent Ferrari F360 Spider with six speed manual gearbox was supplied new by Maranello Concessionaires in 9th January 2001 with the following specification: Rosso Corsa paintwork, Daytona seats, Nero leather interior, black hood, red carpets and transmission tunnel, Nero hoops, Nero dashboard, Nero door cards and red brake callipers. This 360 Spider has a good history with nine services to date, the last this year less than fifty miles ago at a cost of over £7,000 which included new cam belts, spark plugs, brake fluid change and new gearbox oil. It has had five owners from new with the current owner purchasing the car in 2010; it has only covered 42,000 miles from new. This Ferrari is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in August 2018, the original complete book pack, the tool kit, a compressor, a torch, two keys and a service history folder containing receipts and old MoT certificates. The Ferrari 360 Spider is superb to look at and even better to drive.
