Beschreibung:

The Triumph Sprint ST was manufactured in the UK from 1999 with power from a hugely reliable four-stroke, three-cylinder engine, an alloy-beam frame and a single-sided swingarm. It was a complete redesign of the earlier Sprint 900 and styled by Rod Scivyer. It used the 955cc straight-three engine similar to those found in the contemporaneous Speed Triple and Daytona models but slightly detuned for smoother power delivery. The model's appearance remained mostly unchanged from its introduction in 1999. With just 5,600 miles recorded and only two keepers from new, this well presented example has been cherished by its second owner. He acquired the bike in 2002 with superficial damage to the fairing. This was recorded at the time as an insurance loss but has since been professionally rebuilt and restored with replacement plastics, a Kappa rack, top box and panniers. With heated grips and raised screen it has been used regularly for commuting to the office in London. The current owner has now retired and decided to give up two wheels and so it has been little used for the last five years. Although it should be noted that, when viewed, it started upon request. In excellent running order and with low mileage, this represents a perfect touring motorcycle and comes complete with original owner's handbook and Haynes Manual.
