It is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive, V8 powered coupé and Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce an entirely new, all aluminium space-frame chassis that was 40% stiffer than the F355. Along with a lightweight frame, the new Pininfarina body styling deviated from traditions of the previous decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights. The new V8 engine utilises a 3.6 litre capacity and, despite what looks like on paper as modest gains, in reality the power to weight ratio was significantly improved. The first model to be rolled out was the 360 Modena followed later by the 360 Spider and finally, as a special edition, the Challenge Stradale; there were 8,800 Modena's and 7,565 Spiders produced. This desirable manual, lefthand drive example was first registered in 2002, it benefits from the Formula One championship winner dash motif only available from the factory on this production year. Finished in metallic black with a full black leather interior, this 360 Modena is offered in absolutely stunning condition throughout. An extremely good service history accompanies the car and it has been serviced regularly, most recently in November 2017 with GVE Ferrari, this included a full cambelt service. Offered with all the Ferrari books and manuals, a full tool kit coupled with a car cover, this is a very attractive motorcar and, what could be considered, one of the ultimate driving Ferraris.
