Just 13,300 miles One owner from new Serviced exclusively with Porsche main dealers The 996 model is a superb car; quick, reliable, well made and the birth of the water cooled Porsche 911. With a wide range of models on offer, the most iconic is, of course, the Turbo. Featuring four wheel drive and a 3.6 litre, intercooled engine, derived from the 1998 Le Mans winning GT-1 car, pushing out 420bhp and hitting 60mph in a whisker over four seconds, this is genuine supercar territory. The 996 was seen as a more relaxed and usable 911; however, in Turbo guise, the driver would get the best of both worlds; a luxury leather interior with every creature comfort combined with the ability to drop the hammer and reach a top speed of a claimed 190 mph. The 996 Turbo was available with either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed tiptronic transmission with revised styling and a wider stance than the naturally aspirated 996 Carreras along with new bi-xenon headlamps. The turbo also came with VarioCam Plus as well as stability management - a necessity with over 400 bhp under your right foot. Performance can be described as 'ballistic' when behind the wheel of a turbo charged Porsche. However, due to the modern 911 being such a capable daily driver, mileage on early cars can swiftly reach into six figures resulting in lower mileage models becoming rare for any collector or enthusiast. With just a little over 13,000 miles from new, our example is immaculately presented in the best colour combination metallic black with almost as new black leather trim and has clearly led a pampered life. First registered on the 1st December 2004 and supplied by West London Porsche, Chiswick this Tiptornic example has had just one owner from new and been serviced by Porsche main dealers only. The last service was performed by the Porsche Service centre at Brooklands in February 2017 and they have cared for the car over the past year. They have stated that, if a buyer were inclined, they would be able to supply a Porsche warranty on this example describing this process as a formality and subject to the normal warranty cost. This car is indeed that impressive to view and drive. We are informed that all electrics operate as they should and the gear change through the 5-speed tiptronic gearbox is faultless. Under the wide wheel arches sit iconic turbo alloy wheels, fully refurbished and as new, with near new tyres all round. Included in the history file is a comprehensive service book showing four stamps from Porsche main dealers, all manuals and Navigation CD's in the dealer supplied leather pouch. This is a superb example of an ever appreciating 911 in such fabulous condition and with extremely low ownership and mileage, so viewing is highly recommended.
