2005 Ferrari F430 Spider Lot Number 268 Registration RX0 5FFO Chassis Number ZFFEZ59C000142515 Engine Number 94,920 Odometer reading 28,114 miles Estimate £74,000 - £82,000 Print details Send this to a friend 5 more images The Ferrari F430 was produced from 2004 to 2009 as a successor to the 360. It was Ferrari’s 21st road going convertible and made its world premiere at the Geneva motor show, the car being designed by Pininfarina with aerodynamic simulation programs also used for Formula One cars. The roof panel automatically folds away inside a space above the engine bay, the conversion from a closed top to an open-air convertible is a two-stage folding-action and the interior of the Spider is identical to that of the coupé. Designed by Pininfarina, under the guidance of Frank Stephenson, the body styling of the F430 was revised from its predecessor to improve its aerodynamic efficiency. Although the drag coefficient remained the same, downforce was greatly enhanced. Despite sharing the same basic Alcoa Aluminium chassis, roof line, doors and glass, the car looked significantly different from the 360. A great deal of Ferrari heritage was included in the exterior design, at the rear, the Enzo's tail lights and interior vents were added. The F430 featured the ‘E-Diff’a computer-controlled limited slip active differential which can vary the distribution of torque based on inputs such as steering angle and lateral acceleration. Other notable features include the first application of Ferrari's Manettino steering wheel-mounted control knob. Drivers can select from five different settings which modify the vehicle's ESC system. Supplied originally to Maranello, Egham in October of 2005, this Ferrari F430 Spider has covered just 28,114 miles from new and benefits from having a recent service. Finished in metallic Grigorio Titanio silver with a black fabric hood and Bordeaux red leather seats, aesthetically, this Ferrari Spider is a delight to look at and we are told even better to drive. The seats have the famous prancing horse embossed into the head restraints and the interior has black leather on the door cards and dash along with carbon fibre inserts and trim. The outside condition is excellent with newly refurbished 19” Alloys and brand new Ferrari Specification Bridgestone tyres all round. Originally a UK car that received its early servicing by Bramwell’s (Now Stratstone Ferrari). In September 2009, it was exported to Japan by prominent businessman Mr Wattanbi, where we are informed it had two services logged with Ferrari, one at 19,500 miles in 2012 and another at 25,200 miles in 2014 (this information is provided by Maranello Ferrari). On the cars return to the UK, a service was carried out by renowned Ferrari Specialist QV London with a mileage of 27,531. This outstanding Ferrari has excellent road holding, a very responsive throttle action and a level of comfort expected from such a luxurious marque. Supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate valid until 9th April 2018, Ferrari book pack and Ferrari trickle charger, this is a stunning looking, sounding and driving example.
