A 1796 PATTERN LIGHT CAVALRY TROOPER'S SABRE; AN 1885 PATTERN CAVALRY SABRE; AND AN IRON-HILTED SMALL-SWORD LATE 18 T H /19 T H CENTURY The first with burnished regulation blade etched with the cutler's inscription 'Tho. Gill's Warranted Never to Fail 12' on one side at the forte, iron stirrup hilt, original grip, and original iron scabbard also numbered '12' (the blade and scabbard each with patches of pitting, the scabbard pitted over its surface); the second with Solingen blade dated '87', in associated regulation iron scabbard (the hilt and scabbard with light pitting); and the last with slender blade, and lightly decorated hilt retaining its original grip.
