A 1908 Pattern Cavalry Trooper's Sword, 35' (89cm) straight fullered blade, stamped PO8 on backstrap, with various stamps at forte, regulation steel bowl guard, diced composition grip, in its steel scabbard, retaining much of its original World War One khaki green paint finish. Provenance: Sergeant Major George Nelson Royal Gloucestershire Hussars, thence by decent.
