Beschreibung:

A 20-Bore Bohemian Flintlock Holster Pistol Circa 1720 Reconverted from percussion, with swamped sighted barrel (surface pitting) with spurious signature on the sighting flat, the muzzle and breech chiselled with baroque decoration in relief against a punched ground, flat bevelled lock chiselled on the tail with Diana and a recumbent stag in a wooded landscape, and at the centre with Diana and a hound, moulded figured walnut full stock (repaired, fore-end tip and cap replaced) carved with scrollwork in relief, full cast and chased brass mounts (originally gilt) decorated with scrolls and strapwork in relief involving animals and female figures, all on a punched ground, spurred pommel, pierced side-plate and escutcheon, faceted brass ramrod-pipes, and later ramrod 20in.
