A 20th-Century painted metal tellurion and a brass armillary sphere signed TRIPPENSEE PLANETARIUM CO., Saginaw, Mich the 3-inch (7.6 cm.) diameter globe made up of 12 chromolithographed gores with a cartouche for TRIPPENSEE PLANETARIUM CO., Saginaw, W. S. Mich. ©c The George F. Cram Co., Inc. Indianapolis 7, Ind. with chain drive to a black and white painted moon ball and to the main column with large brass sunball and chain-driven arm for black and white painted Mercury ball, raised on a baluster turned ebonised column to a circular plinth base with calendar and zodiac scales. Along with a decorative steel and brass armillary sphere on a baluster turned brass base and with a brass hour band stamped on the inside with hours I-XII (x2) and quarter-hour subdivisions and a plain horizon 14 x 19 in.
