CIRCA 1800 CASE: with serpent handle over concave moulded top with ribbon-tied foliate mounts, flowerhead bosses to the sides, toupie feet DIAL: white enamel, signed 'hubert Sarton/A LIEGE', blued steel hands MOVEMENT: single chain fusee for going train and going barrel for strike train, verge balance escapement with regulation disc to the side, strike work to the back plate, pull wind alarm and quarter strike/repeat on two bells 7½ in. (19 cm.) high, handle down; 5½ in. (14 cm.) wide; 3½ in. (9 cm.) deep
