A BÖTTGER HAUSMALEREI GOLD-GROUND TWO-HANDLED BEAKER AND A SAUCER painted at Augsburg by Abraham Seuter , the beaker with two shaped reserves with tooled gilt scrollwork borders painted with an alchemist before an explosion in his laboratory and a scholar in his study, the saucer with a quatrefoil shaped reserve painted with figures from the Italian Comedy, Columbine between Harlequin and Pantalone, a cherub minstrel and a dog (the beaker with one restored replacement handle, the saucer with one large and two small restored chips and slight flaking to enamel), the porcelain circa 1720, the decoration slightly later (2)
