The deck is planked in basswood strips and is fitted with numerous details many of which are in brass, which include: jackstaff, anchor, bollards, hatches, coils of line, life rings forward main gun, bell, windows, torpedos on hydraulic racks, hand rails, search light, wind shield, engine controls, radar, depth charges, range finders, anti-aircraft guns, exhaust pipes, rudders and propellers.
