A calligraphic stone frieze, North India, probably sultanate period, dated A.H. 948/A.D. 1542 of rectangular form in mottled red sandstone, two lines of angular naskh script with carved floral scrolls on each side, top and bottom border with rectangular geometric designs, end borders with small turban-shaped columns 88.5 by 31cm.
